How it works
Use the event code shared by the organiser or photographer. You can also scan a QR code or search by phone number.
Take or upload a clear selfie. The AI uses this to create a facial signature for matching against the event gallery.
Our face recognition engine compares your facial signature against every detected face in the gallery — thousands of photos in under 3 seconds.
View every photo you appear in, organised in your personal album. Preview with watermark, then download or purchase high-resolution copies.
Use cases
Whether it's 50 guests or 10,000 runners, face search scales to any event size.
Find yourself in hundreds of ceremony and reception photos without scrolling through the entire album.
Employees at town halls, annual days, and conferences find their photos instantly — no manual tagging needed.
Thousands of students across multiple events get their photos in seconds using a single selfie.
Runners find their race-day photos from thousands of shots captured along the route.
Birthday parties, engagements, and family functions — guests find their moments effortlessly.
InstantPix processes your selfie in-memory for face matching and does not store it permanently. Biometric data is discarded after the search completes. Event galleries are access-controlled via event codes — only people with the code can search. Read our privacy policy for full details.
FAQ
Our AI engine uses deep learning face recognition to create a mathematical representation of your facial features from a selfie. It then compares this against every face detected in the event gallery and returns photos where your face appears — typically in under 3 seconds.
InstantPix face recognition achieves 98%+ accuracy across varying lighting conditions, angles, and distances. The AI is trained on diverse datasets to work reliably across all skin tones and face shapes.
Your selfie is used only for the face matching process and is not stored permanently or shared with anyone. InstantPix follows a privacy-first approach — your biometric data is processed in-memory and discarded after search.
You can search any event gallery that has been uploaded to InstantPix. You'll need the event code (shared by the organiser or photographer) to access the gallery, then use face search to find your photos.
For best results, use a clear, well-lit selfie taken from the front. If some photos are missed, try uploading a different selfie. Photos where your face is heavily obscured or at extreme angles may not match.
