1. Overview
All bookings on InstantPix are subject to this Refund Policy. Refunds are processed via Razorpay to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer (typically 5–10 business days).
2. Cancellation-based refunds
**Client-initiated cancellation:**
- Cancelled more than 24 hours before event: 100% refund
- Cancelled within 24 hours of event: 75% refund (25% late-cancellation fee)
**Photographer-initiated cancellation:**
If a photographer cancels an accepted booking at any time, the client receives a 100% refund plus a ₹500 service credit applicable to their next booking.
3. No-show & non-performance
If a photographer fails to show up for a confirmed booking without prior notice, the client is entitled to a 100% refund. Claims must be submitted within 24 hours of the scheduled event via support@instantpix.co with proof (messages, timestamps).
4. Quality disputes
If delivered photos materially fail to meet the agreed scope (e.g., wrong event, significant technical failures), you may file a dispute within 7 days of photo delivery. InstantPix will mediate between both parties. Partial refunds of up to 50% may be granted at our discretion after review.
Subjective style preferences (lighting, editing style) do not qualify for refunds if the photographer fulfilled the agreed scope.
6. How to claim
Email support@instantpix.co with subject "Refund Request — [Booking ID]". Include your name, booking ID, and reason. We will respond within 2 business days.
