1. Client cancellations
You may cancel a confirmed booking at any time before the event. Refund eligibility depends on how far in advance you cancel:

| Less than 24 hours | 75% (25% late-cancellation fee) |
To cancel, go to Account → Bookings → Select booking → Cancel. Refunds are initiated immediately and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
2. Photographer cancellations
Photographers are expected to honour all accepted bookings. If a photographer cancels:
- Client receives a 100% refund
- Client receives ₹500 service credit for their next booking
- Photographer's cancellation rate is tracked and displayed on their profile
- 3+ cancellations in 6 months may result in temporary suspension
Emergency cancellations (medical, natural disaster) reviewed case-by-case.
3. Event date or location changes
If you need to change the event date or location, contact the photographer directly via the platform. If the photographer agrees to the change, no cancellation occurs. If they cannot accommodate, you may cancel and receive a refund based on the original event date and notice period.
5. Cancellation process
Cancellations made via the platform UI are processed automatically. For cancellations requiring manual review, email support@instantpix.co with subject "Cancellation — [Booking ID]". Response within 2 business days.
