You may cancel a confirmed booking at any time before the event. Refund eligibility depends on how far in advance you cancel:

| 24+ hours before event | 100% (full refund) |
| Less than 24 hours | 75% (25% late-cancellation fee) |
To cancel, go to Account → Bookings → Select booking → Cancel. Refunds are initiated immediately and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
Photographers are expected to honour all accepted bookings. If a photographer cancels:
Emergency cancellations (medical, natural disaster) reviewed case-by-case.
If you need to change the event date or location, contact the photographer directly via the platform. If the photographer agrees to the change, no cancellation occurs. If they cannot accommodate, you may cancel and receive a refund based on the original event date and notice period.
InstantPix may cancel a booking if:
In such cases, the client receives a full refund.
Cancellations made via the platform UI are processed automatically. For cancellations requiring manual review, email support@instantpixapp.com with subject "Cancellation — [Booking ID]". Response within 2 business days.
