For hosts
You name the sections and choose what goes in them. A photo can sit in several, and it is still stored once.
A wedding is not one gallery, it is five: the mehendi, the ceremony, the portraits, the reception, the morning after. Delivered as a single unbroken grid, all five are equally hard to find.
Collections let you cut the same gallery into named sections. This is a manual tool and deliberately so — you know which frames are the sangeet and no classifier does. What it removes is the file shuffling: a collection references photos rather than copying them, so a frame in three collections still occupies the storage of one.
Name them for the event, not for the software — Mehendi, Baraat, Reception.
Select a run of frames and assign them in one action. Adding a photo twice is a no-op, not a duplicate.
The gallery opens on all photos; Collections is a tab beside it.
Live on every event. Creating collections is owner, editor and admin only; browsing is open to anyone with the link.
