1. Eligibility
To register as a photographer on InstantPix you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be an individual or legally registered business entity
- Complete KYC verification (government-issued ID + selfie)
- Pass a portfolio review by the InstantPix team
- Have a valid Indian bank account for payouts
2. Profile accuracy
Your photographer profile must accurately represent:
- Your identity and legal name
- Your business/studio name (if applicable)
- Your actual city and service areas
- Your experience, specializations, and portfolio
- Your pricing packages
False or misleading information is grounds for immediate suspension.
3. Service area & location
You set your service city, GPS coordinates, and service radius (5–100 km) from your dashboard. You may define travel charges for distances beyond your base radius. It is your responsibility to keep this information current.
You will appear in client search results only when your listed location overlaps with the client's search radius.
4. Booking obligations
- You must respond to booking requests within 48 hours (accept or decline)
- Once accepted, a booking is a binding commitment
- You must fulfil the booking professionally and on time
- If you must cancel, notify the client and platform immediately
- Repeated cancellations (3+ in 6 months) may result in suspension
5. Platform commission & payouts
InstantPix deducts a platform commission from each completed booking. The commission rate is displayed in your Dashboard settings and may be updated with 30 days' notice.
Payouts are processed weekly (every Monday) via Razorpay to your registered bank account. A minimum payout threshold of ₹500 applies. You are responsible for all applicable income taxes on your earnings.
6. KYC & identity verification
All photographers must complete KYC before their profile goes live:
1. Upload government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar / PAN / Passport)
2. Complete a live selfie verification
3. Submit bank account details for payout
KYC is processed by our compliance team within 24–48 hours. Profiles remain in "pending" status until KYC is approved.
If KYC fails or you provide false documents, your account will be permanently banned and any pending funds will be held pending investigation.
7. Portfolio & content
You may only upload photos you own or have explicit permission to display. Do not upload:
- Photos taken by others without credit/permission
- Identifiable photos of minors without guardian consent
- Edited photos that misrepresent your actual skill level
InstantPix may remove any content that violates these rules.
8. Professional conduct
- Communicate with clients respectfully at all times
- Do not solicit payments outside the platform
- Do not share client personal data with third parties
- Do not accept bookings you cannot fulfil
- Do not manipulate reviews or ratings
9. Account suspension & termination
InstantPix may suspend or terminate your account for:
- Breach of this Agreement or platform Terms of Service
- KYC failure or misrepresentation
- Pattern of cancellations or client complaints
- Fraud, illegal activity, or harassment
Upon termination, any pending payouts for completed events will be processed. Disputed amounts may be withheld pending resolution.
10. Changes to this Agreement
We may update this Agreement. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
